Explore the stunning canola fields of the Central West Regions of New South Wales on a photography-focused day trip led by the experienced photographer Bikash Tamot. This unique opportunity offers you a chance to capture the untouched beauty of the canola fields in full bloom against the backdrop of clear blue skies and lush green fields. The natural beauty of the countryside is at its peak this year, creating a picturesque setting for photographers of all levels. 

 

Itinerary

  • Departure: The tour dates and time will be updated in closer date.

  • Photography Stops: Throughout the day, we'll make stops at various locations within the historic towns and canola fields. Bikash Tamot will provide guidance on capturing the best shots and making the most of the lighting and scenery.

  • Duration: The tour is a long day trip that will last until late afternoon. Expect extensive driving and covering a considerable distance to make the most of this photographic adventure.

  • Food and Refreshments: As the schedule is packed with photography opportunities, there will be limited time for food stops. Be sure to bring your own snacks, drinks, and meals to keep yourself fuelled throughout the day.

Note:

Please be aware that this tour is primarily focused on photography, and there will be limited time for leisurely stops and meals. The emphasis will be on capturing the landscape and making the most of the photographic opportunities presented.

For safety reasons, the tour is limited to 5 cars with 3 photographers each, so car pooling will be required (see below). 15 spots available (Driver and 2 passenger), so make sure to confirm your participation (with a comment in the post) at your earliest convenience. Anyone who wants to drive let us know.

Return Options:

  • After the photography session, you have the flexibility to choose your preferred return route. Two options are available:
  • Blue Mountains Route: You can return via the Blue Mountains route
  • Hume Highway Route: Alternatively, if the Hume Highway better suits your travel plans, you can choose to return via this route. It provides a more direct journey for those who prefer a quicker return.

What To Bring

  • Camera Gear: Don't forget your camera, wide angle and telephoto lenses, tripod not required because we will not have time, Circular polariser (optional).Drone (optional).

  • Comfortable clothing and footwear: Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking and exploring.

  • Snacks and drinks: Pack a sufficient amount of snacks, water, and drinks to keep you energized.

  • Sun protection: Bring hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses to shield yourself from the sun.

  • Chargers and batteries: Make sure your camera batteries are fully charged and bring any necessary chargers.

  • Enthusiasm and creativity: Come with an open mind and a creative spirit to capture the beauty of the canola fields in your own unique way.

Trips Information

Trip Information:
* This trip are available in two categories: "driver" or "passenger."
* Driver : If you want to be a driver, please note that you are responsible for taking at least two passengers along with you. Ensure you have a reasonably sized car to accommodate your fellow photographers.
* Passenger: Passengers will be assigned to a car driven by one of the participants. After it is confirmed you will be put in touch with your driver and fellow passengers. Please make your own arrangements for meeting your driver and sharing fuel costs.

Important Notes:
* Drivers and passengers are encouraged to communicate and coordinate in advance of the trip to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
* Be prepared to share fuel costs with your driver as part of the carpooling arrangement.
* Make sure you have all the necessary photography equipment and supplies to make the most of this exciting photography adventure.
* Remember to follow all safety guidelines and traffic regulations during the trip. You are allowed to stop in designated locations only. Not allowed to jump over the fence of farmland.
